Salmon and Prawn Orzo Bake 🐠 🐟

This recipe is perfect for babies, toddlers, and fussy eaters β€” and it’s one I recommend often to parents because it’s quick, affordable, and packed with nutrition.

Why I love it

Rich in omega-3 fats
Salmon provides omega-3 fats, which support brain and eye development.

A great source of calcium
Cream cheese provides calcium, and the soft salmon bones are safe to mash in and add even more.

Contains iodine for brain development
Prawns provide iodine, an important nutrient for growing children.

High in protein
The salmon and prawns make this a protein-rich meal to support growth.

Budget friendly
Orzo is usually much cheaper than speciality β€œbaby pasta” but works just as well. Tinned salmon is a good budget option.

Uses freezer and cupboard staples
Perfect for busy days when you need to rely on cupboard and freezer ingredients.

Only takes 5 minutes to prepare
A very low-effort meal for tired parents! πŸ’πŸ’
