Terms & Conditions

Payment

Full payment for the CMPA Journey Package and any individually booked appointments is required in advance to secure your first appointment.

Package Validity

All four milestone sessions included within the CMPA Journey Package must be used within 18 months of the purchase date to ensure clinical relevance to your child's developmental stage. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will expire and are non-refundable.

All individually booked appointments must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused appointments after this period will expire and are non-refundable.

Package Use

Sessions included within the CMPA Journey Package are intended solely for the named child at the time of booking and are non-transferable. Sessions cannot be shared between siblings or used for another child.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule a milestone session or individual appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be forfeited and cannot be rebooked free of charge.

Refund Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days and receive a full refund, provided that no dietetic services have been delivered.

If you request that services begin during the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of services. If you subsequently cancel within the 14-day period, you will be liable to pay for any services already provided and any clinical work completed up to the point of cancellation. Any refund due will be adjusted accordingly.

Refunds for unused sessions outside of the 14-day cancellation period are not routinely provided. However, partial refunds may be considered, at the sole discretion of the practitioner, in exceptional circumstances, including serious illness or earlier-than-anticipated resolution of CMPA or other allergies.

Communication Between Appointments

I aim to respond to emails within 48 working hours, excluding weekends, bank holidays, and periods of annual leave.

Reasonable email support is included between appointments for brief questions or clarification relating to your child's nutrition plan.

Email support is intended for short follow-up queries only and does not replace scheduled consultations or ongoing clinical assessment. Where more detailed advice, significant clinical review, or additional support is required, a follow-up appointment may be recommended and may incur an additional fee.

Response times may occasionally be longer due to annual leave or unforeseen circumstances.

This service is not intended for urgent medical concerns or emergencies. If your child requires urgent medical attention, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services as appropriate.

Clinical Boundaries

Dietetic advice and nutritional recommendations are tailored specifically to your child's medical needs and should not be shared or applied to other individuals, as this may be unsafe.

The CMPA Journey Package does not replace medical care provided by your GP, paediatrician, or emergency services.

Prescription recommendations are advisory only. Any prescribing decisions remain at the discretion of your GP, paediatrician, or other prescribing healthcare professional.

While every effort is made to provide evidence-based and appropriate nutritional advice, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Recommendations should be followed alongside advice from your child's wider medical team.

GP Communication

By booking this package, you consent to Sophie Wootten communicating relevant clinical reports, prescription recommendations, and other clinically appropriate information with your child's GP and other healthcare professionals involved in their care where necessary.

Information will only be shared where clinically relevant and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Prescription Requests and Supporting Letters

Requests for GP prescription recommendations, supporting letters, reports, or additional clinical documentation outside of scheduled consultations may incur an additional fee.

Any applicable charges will be discussed in advance wherever possible.

Data Protection & Confidentiality

Your personal information and clinical records are stored securely and managed in accordance with UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation, HCPC standards, and British Dietetic Association professional guidance.

Clinical records are retained in accordance with the NHS Records Management Code of Practice and relevant professional record-keeping requirements.
