Chicken Tikka Kebabs ๐๐
Both my husband and son absolutely LOVE these kebabs, which honestly feels like a small miracle some days ๐
Theyโre one of my go-to dinners when I want something easy that everyone will actually eat. The yoghurt marinade keeps the chicken really soft and mild, which helps a lot if youโve got a little one whoโs unsure with stronger flavours or spices. yoghurt also helps keep the children tender, which can make a big difference for children who are sensitive to texture.
Ingredients (makes 8 small kebabs)
1 large chicken breast - sliced into chunks
2 tbsp full fat yoghurt
1 tbsp of all: cumin, coriander, turmeric and garam masala
1/2 paprika
3 garlic cloves, crushed
10g ginger, grated
Method
Combine yoghurt with garlic, ginger and spices. Add chicken and marinade overnight.
Soak 8 wooden skewers in water for 30mins.
Thread chicken onto skewers.
Cook them in the air fryer (180c) or oven for 15-20mins. Turn them halfway to ensure even cooking.
Remove the skewer before serving.
These are high in protein and great for batch cooking. They can be eaten hot or cold and work well for lunchboxes, picnics, or easy dinners.
