Raisin Shortbread

Last week we invested in a toddler learning tower and it has been life changing 😬😬

I was finding cooking difficult, as often Eli would want to be picked up or would want me to play with him. However, he is now enjoying helping with the cooking and washing up! 😺

A toddler learning tower is a great way to educate children about food and the cooking process.

Today, we made raisin shortbread (loads of raisins eaten haha)

Ingredients

  • 100g wholemeal plain flour

  • 60g unsalted butter, softened

  • 25g icing sugar

  • 25g raisins

Method

  • Mix everything together lightly.

  • Roll dough out on a floured surface.

  • Cut biscuits out using a cutter.

  • Cook in the oven (190c) for 12 mins.

  • Leave to cool on a cooling rack.
