Mini Black Bean Burgers 🍔 🫘
When I am off work, I love nothing more than eating with Eli. It's a special time for both of us.
These little burgers are tasty, nutritious and cheap to make. Beans are an excellent source of protein, fibre and contain Iron.
These burgers are also easy to freeze - you can freeze them in a container with greaseproof paper in between them.
Ingredients
1 can of well drained black beans / kidney beans (I used black beans)
1 clove of garlic (crushed)
60g grated courgette
60g grated carrot
60g grated cheddar
60g breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Cumin and coriander (optional)
Dash of Worcheshire sauce
1 tsp tomato puree
1/3 tsp salt (optional)
1 egg
Method
Mix everything together and make 12 mini burgers.
To cook - put the airfryer on at 190c. Cook burgers for 10 mins (flip to cook the bottoms after 5 mins). Alternatively, you could cook them in the oven.
