Coronation Chickpea Wraps 🌯

I love this recipe! Eli loves chickpeas and I wanted to try something different. Chickpeas are a great source of fibre and a good source of plant-based protein, as well as providing iron.

This recipe is full of flavour - it is a little spiced, sweet and tangy!

Recipe (makes 4-6 kids portions)

  • 1 drained can of chickpeas, 1/2 slightly mashed

  • 2 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tsp mild curry powder

  • 1 tsp heaped mango chutney

  • Salt

  • 1 tsp raisins

  • Squeeze of lime

  • Mini wraps (I like Crosta & Mollica - no preservatives or additives)

The perfect snack plate

I served 1/2 a coronation chickpea wrap with a mini cheese, crinkle cucumber and 1/2 a mini pepper filled with cream cheese.

After feeding the dinosaurs, Eli wolfed this lunch down 🦖 🦕
